About the Role:
Northern Shield Infrastructure is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator for municipal roadwork and infrastructure projects in the Greater Sudbury area. Work includes excavation, grading, and trenching for water and sewer installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators, loaders, and graders

• Perform daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance

• Follow site safety procedures and environmental regulations

• Work collaboratively with site crews and supervisors

Qualifications:

• Valid Ontario Heavy Equipment Operator certification

• 3+ years’ experience in civil construction

• Ability to work long hours during peak season

• Valid Class G driver’s licence
